We stretch canvas and make custom artist canvas bars. Our professional canvas bars are constructed with only the finest materials. We us poplar timber and maked keyed stretchers. The advantage of the keyed stretcher is that as the canvas breaths the stretcher bar moves with it. We use a special corner joint to allow for this as it happens in every type of canvas. When the canvas expands or contracts you can get what appears to be a sag. All that has to be done is to tap the wedges in the corners and the stretcher tightens up . Once that is done the canvas will be come taught again.

We also do specialty canvas as you can see from this image. It is a 2m circle stretched on to a custom made stretcher.
